Media Policy

1480 Media Policy
The College recognizes the importance of the broadcast, electronic and print news media in communicating information to the public regarding newsworthy events at the College. In order to assist the news media in carrying out this essential role, the College shall strive to maintain cooperative and professional relationships with members of the news media by responding promptly to media inquiries, providing complete and accurate information to the extent permitted by law, and, whenever possible, informing news media in advance of newsworthy events.

The Superintendent/President shall develop procedures necessary to strengthen media relations and will make every effort to keep the Board of Trustees fully informed. These procedures shall be located in the Office of the Superintendent/President.
